Jess’ Spicy Nuts

These are great for snacking on by themselves, or adding to a salad. Even better, they’re quite simple to make and take only a short amount of time.

1/2 cup oil (I prefer grape seed oil, olive oil might steal your seasonings’ thunder)
3/4 tsp garlic powder
1/8 tsp onion powder
1 1/2 tsp chili powder
1/4 tsp tumeric

Heat oil in a saucepan on medium-low and add together the spices in your saucepan.
Then add 3 cups of your favorite nuts. I prefer sliced almonds, since they are pretty mild in flavor, but walnuts are good if you like your nuts hearty. Stir your nuts gently in your saucepan for 5 minutes then transfer to a baking dish and bake at 300 for about 10 minutes. That’s it! Enjoy my spicy nuts!
